All Florida Paper

Any Vendor Can Supply Product, but All Florida Paper Delivers Value

The name of the company is All Florida Paper, and it’s an All-American success story.

Armando Caceres came from Cuba to the United States at the age of 5. As a young man, he worked for a distribution company. There, he learned about the challenges of distribution – and decided, “I think I can do this, and I think I can do this very well.”

A Job Creator

And he has done it very well. In 1993 he founded All Florida Paper. Today, as its president and CEO, Caceres runs a company that employs 80 people, distributes products businesses need throughout Florida and into the Caribbean and South America, operates from a 108,000-square foot distribution center, and generates $40 million in sales annually. “America has really been the land of opportunity for us,” he says. “We have worked very hard and with a vision, dreams and ambition, have developed a company which I think makes our community proud and makes us personally very proud.”

All Florida Paper buys products from leading manufacturers and supplies them to end-users and smaller distributors. The company carries a complete line of packaging supplies for the food service industry, as well as janitorial supplies, chemicals and equipment for supermarkets, hotels, hospitals and restaurants.

Improving Business, Adding Value

A staff of 27 direct sales representatives brings this merchandise – along with the company philosophy of adding value – to the market. “We work to understand what our customers need, and once we determine that, we can present a solution and a program,” Caceres says. “We strive to improve their business, and if we improve their business, we’re not just a vendor. We add value.”

A Successful Model

To create his business, Caceres followed examples of great companies built in the early 20th century, a time, he says, when hard work, strategic planning, goals and ambitions came together to foster long-term success. “We have never tried to reinvent the wheel. We realize it’s round. What we do is try to push it better and smoother than our competitors.”

Expansion is part of the plan, with an expectation of opening a distribution center in Orlando next year. The five-year plan includes a site in Atlanta. Also, Caceres anticipates his children will follow him into All Florida Paper. “We’re very proud of it, and we’re very grateful to live in America,” he says.
