Carver Financial Services Inc.

Personal Service
and Determination Characterize
Nationally Recognized Wealth Manager

Carver Financial Services Inc.’s Vision Statement is simply “to make people’s lives better.” Randy Carver became a registered representative in 1987 and founded Carver Financial Services Inc. in 1990 with that goal in mind. Focusing on retirement income planning and wealth transfers, the firm now manages more than $680 million in assets for clients globally. Randy and his team have been named by both Barron’s and Registered Rep. as one of the top advisors in the nation – prestigious honors they’ve held every year since 2008 (1).

Randy Carver is a true entrepreneur. At age 10 he sold homemade jam. In his teens he launched a catering business and scoured the pages of the Wall Street Journal. Before getting to college, Carver employed 15 painting contractors and later started a second contracting firm while studying at Oberlin. Making customer service the priority was the common thread that led to success in all of these businesses and drives Carver Financial Services today.

Carver’s impressive rise to the top of his field is much more extraordinary when you consider that his journey was interrupted by a life-threatening childhood cancer, a devastating plane crash in 1989 and a motorcycle accident in 2006. The serial entrepreneur has an indomitable will to live and a spirit to help others.

Keenly sensitive to the unique needs of individuals, Carver Financial Services takes a highly personal approach to investing. “Industry standard practices rely on models and packaged plans. My team and I take a very different approach. We develop customized wealth management solutions to help people achieve their vision consistent with their needs, risk tolerance and objectives,” says Carver, one of Barron’s Top 10 Financial Planners in Ohio (2).

Carver has assembled a team of professionals with more than 100 years’ combined experience who have helped make the firm one of Crain’s Cleveland Business’ Top 5 Financial Planners for 2011 based upon assets under management.

The team shares Carver’s commitment to integrity and independence. “Through Raymond James Financial Services, we have access to all of the investment alternatives, services and resources of any large Wall Street firm. As independent advisors, however, we are not limited to any proprietary products. We can find the best solution for our clients wherever they may come from,” explains Carver.

Hardship Leads to Charity
Carver makes charitable work a priority. He and his team have been recognized by the U.S. Congress, U.S. Senate, governor of Ohio and Invest In Others Foundation, and the firm was named the 2011 Lake County Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year for its philanthropic efforts. Its annual food drive has provided 40,000 pounds of food to Lake County Salvation Army since 1990, and the annual charity golf event has raised more than $75,000 for local charities.

“We are committed to this community,” says Carver. “And I’m eternally grateful for the opportunity I have to serve.”
